Members of the Killeen Civic Art Guild came together to create an art quilt project for this event that will be on display. This was not a fabric art project. Each participating member was given a masonite square to create a work of art in their medium of choice (paint, mosaic, fiber, mixed media etc.), then all the squares were framed as one collaborative art piece. The final result is below. It is absolutely incredible.
Participating Artists:
Top row L-R Pauline Barrett, Vickie Bess, Stefanie Mack, Norm Cole, Stephen Culver / 2nd row Lindsay Starr Platt, Rebecca Scott, Ingrid Hubert, Chantal Sommerfield, Kiera Gutierrez / 3rd Row Marty Stanek, Wanda Gunter, Isabel Bissell, Nicole Bissell, Jutta Mack / 4th row Samra Thompson, Wendy Morris, Alex Price, Stephen Culver, Sidney Henderson. Amazing!
